VMware® Workstation is the version of VMware software that operates on end-user machines and enables a single desktop PC to operate multiple operating systems. With VMware Workstation, guest OSs operate in virtual environments within the main, installed host OS. VMware Workstation software enables the guest OSs to use allocated portions of the physical desktop’s processing, memory and storage resources not used by the host OS.
